Hello there! I'm Roshan, a senior at Duke studying Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Economics.

My background is in computer architecture. I apply my skills in FPGA design and 3D printing to build custom logic to power bespoke hardware systems. I have experience fixing and modifying printers (both 2D and 3D!) as well as implementing my own designs.

I enjoy reverse engineering things, reading The Atlantic and The Economist magazines, and finding connections between technology and world events. Much of my time outside of school is spent understanding geopolitics through the lens of economics.

My summers have been spent working on the bankability group at Black & Veatch, where I conducted feasibility studies on nascent technologies and early-stage firms. By evaluating each company's technologies and financials, I combined my engineering and economics skills to provide actionable growth strategies and risk mitigation plans for our clients.

I find myself at the intersection of technology and the humanities, on the cutting edge of innovation but with enough grounding to know when relentless optimization is necessary and when it is counterproductive.

I have some old-school hobbies: playing the piano, learning to fly, and writing with fountain pens. I also love whale sharks (a lot).
